The Patrol (Short Story)
The sun was high in the sky, it was like an inferno outside and the 31st NRIFLES (NERFRIFLES) were getting ready ready to go out for a patrol. They put on their camouflage and helmets, then packed water for them, and darts for their NERF guns, then set off outside towards the local field.
As they walked down the field, but the Captain of the NRIFLES knew something was wrong, they heard rustling in the bushes and saw movement in the trees, before they knew it they were taking fire from the local Militia called the Nilitia (NERF Militia) and a darts came zooming from all directions, it was an ambush. The Captain told everyone to get down and fire back, as both sides were getting pelted with darts only a few came out, and as they picked the Nilitia off one by one.
Before they know it two days have gone past they were running low on ammo and water, only two of them left the Captain who is called Peter and the second one which was called William, and the sun was setting as the NRIFLES finished their patrol, they set off back to base.
Then, in the distance they saw a Wildcat AH11 helicopter coming towards them and landed, who could be in this Helicopter? They both thought. It was the S.A.S. coming to pick them up and take them away to their secret base in an unknown place.
It didn't take long for them to get there. Peter and William knew where they were, it was Peter's house, and Peters mum was tied up, it turned out that Peters Mum was in charge of the evil gang that ambushed them, the reason she set up the ambush and get rid of them is because she wanted to use the laptop in peace. An Alien was tied up as well, but this Alien looked like Peter's dog Hal, Peter suspected that Hal was an Alien because he was weird, but how did they get tied up? It was Roger (Peters Puppy) the super dog, he had saved the day by stopping them getting away. The S.A.S. Then, took his mum and Hal to a high security prison. The 31st NRIFLES became Rich and famous and carried on with their every day life.
